The Brooklyn Museum offers unique event spaces and timeless backdrops for your next event. Located in Prospect Heights, also home to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Museum is an ideal setting for personal or corporate events, from sit-down dinners and wedding receptions to corporate functions and cocktail parties. Restaurant Associates, the Museum’s exclusive caterer, and our Special Events team will be delighted to work with you to custom design a truly memorable experience.

Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion and Lobby

Redesigned in 2004, this modern, elegant space features an expansive glass pavilion that looks out onto the Museum’s welcoming public plaza. The Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion and Lobby is a superb space for your next social engagement. Guests are invited to browse the nearby Arts of Africa galleries or the Hall of the Americas.

Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium

This 4,700-square-foot auditorium accommodates a wide range of events from film screenings to theatrical performances. With audio-visual capabilities, this space provides a perfect setting for corporate meetings and presentations.

Beaux-Arts Court

Our most popular space, the Beaux-Arts Court resonates with atmosphere, tradition, and elegance. Dance the night away in this stunningly renovated two-story room surrounded by the works of European masters. With its magnificent arches, brass chandelier, and historic glass-block floor, the Beaux-Arts Court provides a majestic environment for wedding receptions, gala dinners, and cocktail receptions.

The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Gallery, a beautiful rotunda, will add unforgettable charm to your special occasion. An ideal setting for intimate cocktail receptions, small dinner parties, or small corporate gatherings. Guests can also view special exhibitions in the West Wing Schapiro Gallery. Limited availability.

Steinberg Family Sculpture Garden

This charming bi-level outdoor garden plaza is adorned with architectural fragments from  now-demolished structures throughout the metropolitan area. Most of these remarkable objects date to the period between 1880 and 1910. Open April through October for small ceremonies, cocktail receptions or dining al fresco.

Glass Corridor

With floor-to-ceiling windows, the Glass Corridor overlooks the Steinberg Family Sculpture Garden, creating an intimate space for small dinner or cocktail receptions.

This renovated space, operated by Restaurant Associates, is the perfect location for small lunch or dinner receptions. Limited availability.

Costs for site rental include facility fee, security staffing, parking, and Membership. Catering, provided exclusively by Restaurant Associates, is not included in the site rental fee. Site rental is restricted to Brooklyn Museum Members at the Patron Level or above.

Events may be held on any available day of the week with the exception of major holidays, holiday weekends, and the weekends of Target First Saturdays.
