Members Preview and Reception for Gilbert & George

1–5 p.m. Exhibition Viewing: Morris A. and Meyer Schapiro Wing and Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Gallery, 4th and 5th Floors

6–10 p.m. Reception: Rubin Pavilion, 1st floor

All current Members are invited to celebrate the opening of Gilbert & George at the Members Preview and Reception. Be the first to view this striking retrospective before it opens to the public on October 3. Included in the exhibition are more than eighty pictures created since 1970, among them more than a dozen that are only in the Brooklyn presentation. The reception will feature a conversation between Gilbert & George and Director Arnold Lehman, as well as a book signing with the artists.

Please note that programs are subject to change. Members must present their invitation, which admits two, for admission. The Museum Shop will be open until 10 p.m., and the Museum Café will be open until 6 p.m.
