Annual Members Holiday Sale and Open House
Museum Shop, 1st Floor
All current Members are invited to celebrate the season at the Brooklyn Museum during the annual Holiday Sale and Open House. This year, Members have two full days—Sunday, December 6, and Monday, December 7—to save 20% on all Museum Shop purchases (double the usual 10%).
Schedule of Events:
12–5 p.m. Jewelry trunk show featuring distinctive Baltic amber pieces, including earrings, necklaces, and pins
1 and 3 p.m. Docent-led tour of the special exhibition James Tissot: “The Life of Christ”
2 and 3 p.m. Holiday crafts demonstration and book signing with Rae Grant, author of Crafting Fun: 101 Things to Make and Do with Kids
4 p.m. Book signing with former Associate Curator of European Art Judith F. Dolkart, organizer of James Tissot: "The Life of Christ." This exhibition is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue published by the Museum in association with Merrell Publishers Ltd, London. Note: This event has been changed from its previously scheduled date of Monday, December 7.
The Museum Café will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members must present their invitation or valid Brooklyn Museum Membership card for admission and free parking.
