Panel Discussion: “Linking Generations of Women: Gray Panthers, 1970–2010”

To celebrate its fortieth anniversary as a social and economic justice advocacy organization challenging ageism, racism, and sexism, the Gray Panthers presents a panel discussion with activists ranging in age from their thirties to 101. Professor Florence Denmark of Pace University moderates a panel including lawyer, social worker, and community activist Lillian Sarno; Maria Alvarez of the New York StateWide Senior Action Council and the Brooklyn-Wide Interagency Council of the Aging; and Beni Price, a member of the board of the Gray Panthers, NYC Network.
