Fires in The Mirror (George C. Wolfe, 1993, 90 min., NR). Anna Deavere Smith's award-winning docudrama about the Crown Heights civil disorder of August 1991. Dexter Wimberly, Curator of Crown Heights Gold, Rabbi Eli Cohen, Executive Director of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council, and Richard Green, Director of the Crown Heights Youth Collective, will host a Q&A after the screening. Presented in conjunction with the Skylight Gallery, located at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, and its Crown Heights Gold exhibition. Free with Museum admission.
