I’m Carolyn Parker (Jonathan Demme, 2011, 90 min.) is a poignant documentary about one of the first residents of New Orleans’s Lower Ninth Ward to return after Hurricane Katrina. Part of a series of pre-broadcast screenings of films by New York directors presented in partnership with the PBS documentary series POV. A Q&A with producer Daniel Wolff follows the film.
