Writing Salon with the Writhing Society
Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Gallery, 5th Floor
In connection with the exhibition Jean-Michel Othoniel: My Way, Tom LaFarge and Wendy Walker of the Brooklyn-based Writhing Society lead a workshop based on the French literary movement Oulipo. Using constrained writing techniques and visual-verbal composition, participants will construct texts both individually and collaboratively. No prior experience is necessary, only a delight in language and a willingness to play. Program is free with Museum admission. As space is limited, we recommend you email adult.programs@brooklynmuseum.org to reserve your spot.
