Evening for Educators

Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 4–6:30 p.m.

K–12 educators are invited to a special event featuring three exciting exhibitions: Gravity and Grace: Monumental Works by El Anatsui, "Workt by Hand": Hidden Labor and Historical Quilts, and John Singer Sargent Watercolors. Explore the artwork with our educators and curators, and discover new ways to engage your students with art.

Relax with a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres at our reception, join in art-making activities, and be inspired by the art on view. Take advantage of free teaching materials and Museum passes, as well as a 10% discount in the Museum Shop. Afterward, stay and enjoy the Museum until 10 p.m. This event is free of charge. To RSVP, please email teacher.services@brooklynmuseum.org or call (718) 501-6244.
