Please join us for a special conversation with Terry Carbone, Andrew W. Mellon Curator of American Art, and Sherry Turner DeCarava, who will share her insights on the life and art of the master photographer Roy DeCarava (1919–2009). DeCarava’s work will be included in the Brooklyn Museum’s upcoming exhibition Art, Activism, and Civil Rights in the 1960s. Light refreshments will be served.
