Score the Fountain

Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
Jane and David Walentas Fountain, Outside Museum

Calling all composers. We are asking musicians and producers of all genres—from classical to calypso, brass band to bossa nova—to create an original score to accompany our Jane and David Walentas Fountain in front of the Museum.

Submissions are due by July 30. Email a link to your submission (via SoundCloud, YouSendIt, or other audio platforms) to adult.programs@brooklynmuseum.org with the subject line "Score the Fountain." Watch a video of the fountain in action for reference—your composition must be the full length of the fountain cycle (5:40 mins.).

The general public is then invited to come together on August 14 to hear the final compositions performed live in front of the fountain. This event is free.
