Education Division Studio 3, 1st Floor
The most memorable learning experiences are often the ones that come out of the blue as a surprise. At a moment when teachers are being asked to think about differentiated learning and to make learning stick, discover some examples of unexpected museum learning that can help us work with all kinds of students. During this program, we’ll participate in some fun and surprising teaching experiments in the Museum and see how they might translate to the classroom.
This free monthly series of workshops helps teachers engage with our collections and exhibitions. We welcome educators in all subject areas who are ready to experiment with new and unexpected teaching ideas. Please come at 4 p.m. for coffee, snacks, and conversation. We’ll begin promptly at 4:30 p.m.
Please register in advance here or by phone (718) 501-6236. If you have further questions, email us.
