Brooklyn Talks: Kirsten Gillibrand, Maira Kalman, and Aminatou Sow

Join author and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and illustrator Maira Kalman for the release of their new children’s book, Bold and Brave: Ten Heroes Who Won Women the Right to Vote, an inspiring picture book about ten suffragists who fought for women’s right to vote. The reading is followed by a conversation moderated by Aminatou Sow, writer, co-founder of TechLadyMafia, and co-host of the popular podcast Call Your Girlfriend. The program culminates with a book signing with the illustrator.
