The Brooklyn Museum presents the third annual Children’s Book Fair, with more than 30 Brooklyn authors and illustrators. The fair features storybooks, picture books, and graphic novels and will include author readings, a game for children, and café service. Sponsored by Astoria Federal Savings.

Creative Art Making: Album Cover Art with Cey Adams

2–4 p.m.
Beaux-Arts Court, 3rd Floor

Design an album cover for the band of your choice. Artist and album cover designer Cey Adams, who has worked with musicians ranging from Run-DMC to Stevie Nicks to Foo Fighters, leads a class on LP cover design, incorporating techniques of drawing, stenciling and collage. There is a $15 materials fee, and registration is required. Register online or in person at the Museum’s Visitor Center. A limited number of free tickets are reserved for Members on a first-come, first-served basis. Members should call (718) 501-6326 for tickets.

Film: Robert Frank’s Cocksucker Blues

A rarely screened film directed by Robert Frank, Cocksucker Blues (1972, 93 min., R) follows the Rolling Stones’ 1972 American tour, capturing the sex, drugs, and antics that accompanied the band's fame. Photographer Ken Regan and Gail Buckland, guest curator of Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present, will introduce the film and participate in a question-and-answer session following the screening.
