Videos from the artist talks have now been posted. In addition, we've also posted an exhibition checklist. Both can be found on the Global Feminisms exhibition page: Hi GBJ, An exhibition checklist was just posted on the Global Feminisms exhibition page: http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/global_feminisms/

hello friendly face: Most of the artists in Global Feminisms have profiles in our Feminist Art Base which can be found on our website here: http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/eascfa/feminist_art_base/index.php and in the coming weeks we plan to put up video of the artist talk series from the Center's opening weekend.

i visited the show this past week. i am appalled, as an artist. cliche'. tacky. obvious. too concentrated. shock value. one-dimensional.

So predictable. Looked like artwork created by under-grad college students trying to compensate for a lack of artistry with mere shock value. Nothing touched me, nothing spoke to me. I left feeling disappointed. How is any of this the point of feminism?

I would love to see the show and yet the website is not attempting to present any images of the show? i do not live in the US and this is disappointing given the 'gLobal remit' addressed in the title... I really feel a few images would benenfit the concept. best
