very interesting exhibition. i do love the various use of color nd subjects in depicting the annals of life, death and fantasy. quite allegorical and humorous in its subjects. would like to see where he goes in the next decade of art production.

It is quite a sorrowful anguished display of emotion through art from Hernon Bas who seems to be wrapped up in his imaginative sexuality.

I saw his work first at a whitney biennial several years back and was taken by its mystery, magic and frank look at young mens sexual coming of age. this show is a revelation to me because of the videos and installations. There is a dark, dreamy, scary late 19 cent feel to these, but also something so honest and real about this moment in time. It seems like a jazzed up sexually honest version of the Hardy Boys adventure books. It shows both the pain and joy of being able to be who you are. Thanks for the show. Keepup the great work.
