This exhibit was very helpful in further understanding the bible.

A beautiful and interesting exhibit - even if a bit tedious with so much accompanying text (altho perhaps necessarily so).

I ordered the catalogue and am thoroughly enjoying it. I hope the exhibition will come to Southern California so I can see it in person.

Would put the artist's self portrait at the beginning of the series. Leaving it as a final image leaves the visitor thinking not of Christ, but of the artist, which, for me at least, reduced the impact of the artist's statement in painstakingly recreating all these scenes. Unless the point here is Tissot himself and not this one piece of "notable" work he created.

although we are only of the ages 14,16 and 17 and our parents dragged us here....we must say this exhibit was pretty sweet. the detail in the pictures were exquisite. the fact that this was all done by a human hand makes it even more marvelous, eloquent, magnificent. good job man with your artwork and we are glad we were able to see such cool artwork
