WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MUSEUM'S COLLECTION OF SARGENT'S WATERCOLORS? Why no example of Birchfield. Next time use a book where viewers can write comments. It would be less clumsy.

An excellent exhibit. As follow up, how about a periodic exhibit of watercolors,(and one of prints too), by current artists.

The dynamic nature of this painting leads American art to a path that will ultimately bring about the great cinematic composition in modern film.
