this place really brings egypt to life.its amazing how people worked so hard in the old days...people had no technologu]y and were still able to produce things that many people can not make today. Wonderful

I was excited to come to First Saturdays tonight because the music mix sounded great. However the music was so overpoweringly loud, distorted, and echoey in the atrium space that it was really unpleasant to be there. Too bad, because I was looking forward to dancing! But now we're having a nice evening looking at Egyptian art instead.

great museum. Interesting mix of periods often on the same wall and space. The museum is not crowded and thus, a pleasure to explore. The spacews themselves are interesting with contrasting colors and forms. Loved the recreated homes of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
