Very moving..I wonder if Tissot wanted to use the red wash in the sketchbook to evoke the blood of Christ, since he was so driven by this project..Anyhow, the vertical orientation of his watercolor composition reflects the stamp sized original designs..thank you for your wonderful collection.

this is the worst exhibit i have seen in my life. it scared the hell out of me. it was nothing but him and differnet posed. i think the african exhibit was a bit more itruging if u has for my opnion.

this exhibit was very informative & the watercolors were amazing. Tissot portrayed the life of Christ well.
