Thank you for showing thest exibhits they really show the beauty of the african culture and inspire others to be proud of their culture [im an 11 year old boy

I love they express thier feelings by doing art. If i had their talent I would do this every day

The methods used to display the artifacts, especially the documentary clips, are not fully incorporated with each other, as well as their significances. The displays are segregated from the meaning that makes them worthy of display in the first place. Maybe description and explanation could be more clearly included, such as having text scroll on the screen as the video clips play.

I think that it is really interesting to see the different facets of life that are portrayed in this exhibit. The videos especially gave a glimpse into the real lives of these people and cultures to go along with the art. 15th century figures and 1994 traditional ceremonies really make the average American question why we don't have this kind of tradition

well i like all the things thats in the African Innovations i learned alot in this area i would reccomond this to anybody that i talk to and that likes museum also that likes to study things..

Beautiful pieces of art work. I like the brightness of the room and the videos available to watch. Very informative.

I've always been fascinated with African culture and art. This exhibit, no matter where it has been moved too trhoughout this floor, has been an exhibit I always visit.

Thank you for displaying a small but diverse slice of such a complicated continent. As a child of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora it made me long to know more about the cultures I might have blood connections to.

i very much appreciate this exhibit and wish it would travel. as an art instructor who taught about mask making some years ago, it is pure pleasure to finally see these magnificent objects in real life. they are alive. and a solid reminder of what we have lost when these artworks were literally disembodied from their cultures. thank you for having them out of private collectors (but instructing on the history of the collectors) and available to an eager to learn public.

my 3 year old and 1.5 year old come here every week to watch masquerades. We live across the street. They're fascinated by it.
