Arinitti
Mythic, worshipped by the Hittites of Anatolia (modern-day Turkey), circa 1800–1180 B.C.

The sun goddess Arinitti (Arinnitti), wife of the weather god Tarhun, was the main deity and also patron of the Hittite empire. Generally characterized by justice, mercy, and royal authority, Arinitti was very popular among Hittite rulers.
