Basine
b. circa 440, Thuringia, Germany; date of death unknown

Basine (Basin) married King Childeric I of France. According to legend, on their wedding night, Basine interpreted a vision that Childeric had and from this she has been called a prophet. Their son, Clovis, also became the king of France. Little else is known about her.
