Margareta Karthäuserin (Cartheuserin) was a nun at the Dominican convent of Saint Catherine in Nuremberg, Germany. Throughout the fifteenth century, the nuns of the convent compiled an extensive library, copying many of the volumes themselves. The names of thirty-two copyists (scribes) are documented, and among the most skilled was Margareta Karthäuserin.
