Moero of Byzantium
Flourished circa 250 B.C., Byzantium, ancient Greece

Moero (Myro) of Byzantium was a famous poet of the third century B.C. who wrote epigrams (short witty poems) as well as epic poetry; a fragment of one epic, called Mnemosyne, survives.
