This video is dedicated to four Margarets: Susanne Margarethe Brandt whose life and death inspired Goethe to create Grethen (second Margaret) in Faust, to Margarita Nicolayeva from Bulhakovs' The Master and Margaret which characters were inspired by Fausts' characters and to French Queen Marguerite de Valois, who according to Bulhakovs' novel was an ancestor of Margarita Nicolayeva.
