Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art: Feminist Art Base: Will Holub

Will Holub

Visual artist Will Holub lives in the Mystic region of Connecticut after living for 14 years in Santa Fe, NM following 17 years in New York City. He is currently working on an on-going project that documents American social history through pictorial investigations of unique groups.
Back in the 1970s, after the violent struggles of the Civil Rights movement and during the exhilarating early years of Gay Liberation, it never occurred to me that I wasn't already a Feminist. Today we are facing the erosion of many hard-won advances and the ever-widening gulf between the privileged elites and the underpaid or unemployed masses. Aren't we all Feminists now?
