On your next Museum visit, drop in on one of our free gallery tours led by Museum Guides. Recent topics have included "Stone Carvers of the Nile: Ancient Egypt's V.I.P.s" in our Egyptian collection;"New York, New York," "Colonial Portraits: Ladies and Gents," and "Nueva York: Trescientos Años de Arte, Historia y Cultura" in American Identities; and "Myth to Meaning" in the Hall of the Americas. Student Guides, who are high school, college, and graduate students enrolled in the Museum's Student Guide program, also lead informal discussions in the Museum's galleries.

Tours for the Visually Impaired
Special touch tours for visitors who are blind or visually impaired can be arranged by calling (718) 501-6225 or e-mailing maribeth.flynn@brooklynmuseum.org. Tours are limited to groups of ten and can only be scheduled for Tuesdays between 1 and 3 p.m.
Slide Lectures
Experienced Museum Guides are pleased to present free educational slide lectures about the Brooklyn Museum’s permanent collections and special exhibitions to nonprofit agencies, academic institutions, and civic groups in Brooklyn. Groups located outside of Brooklyn and for-profit organizations may also book these slide shows for a modest fee. There are several slide shows to choose from, including:
