Education: Teacher Leadership Program

Teacher Leadership Program
The Teacher Leadership Program provides a special opportunity for dedicated teachers of all subject areas who are committed to integrating visual arts and object-based learning into their teaching practice. Held monthly during the school year, the program provides a forum for teachers to discuss and develop ideas that relate to museum education. Participants are provided with free teacher passes and teaching materials, gallery talks led by museum educators and curators, behind-the-scenes looks at special exhibitions, strategies for object-based teaching and learning, and roundtable discussions with other teachers.

Evenings for Educators
These relaxing events include a wine reception, curator- and educator-led gallery talks on special exhibitions, and opportunities to explore curriculum connections with Museum- and classroom-based educators. Attendees receive teaching materials, Museum passes, and a ten percent discount in the Museum Shop.
