The extraordinary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat created paintings and drawings with imagery that describes his ideas about life and the world around him. Basquiat: Street to Studio allows you to examine his works of art in depth and to learn about the images he used.

Brooklyn Expedition
Brooklyn Expedition is a collaborative educational project of the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and the Brooklyn Public Library. The site includes teacher lesson plans and activities and information for children pertaining to three thematic areas: Structures, Latin America, and Brooklyn. Brooklyn Expedition may be accessed onsite at the collaborating institutions, as well as at home or at school.
