The Brooklyn Museum offers discounted, engaging guided gallery visits of the permanent collection and special exhibitions for classes from colleges and universities. These seminar-style discussions are led by trained Museum educators and can be specifically designed to enhance professors' curricula. Through close observation and guided discussion, students explore art and world cultures.
Thematic, cross-collection, and culture-specific visits are available. These visits can highlight fine and decorative arts from Egypt, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America, as well as the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, featuring The Dinner Party by Judy Chicago.
