Education: Gallery/Studio Work-Study Program for Teens

High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, build your résumé while taking an art class free of charge! Assist professional teaching artists in classes for students ages six through twelve, preparing art supplies, helping with group management in the studio and galleries, and working one-on-one with students. In return, you can take your own art class with other teens, for free.

All work-study students go to three meetings each semester: orientation (September 30), mid-semester professional development (October 28), and end-of-semester reflection (December 2). Meetings are held 5–7 p.m.

Apply today! Fall semester deadline is September 15. We'll contact you via email within two weeks of the deadline to set up an interview, and we'll let applicants know about our final decisions via email at least one week before classes start.

Courses for children and teens ages 6–17. Choose the teen class you'd like to take for free before completing your application.
