Education: Gallery/Studio Work-Study Program for Teens

High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, build your résumé while taking an art class free of charge! Assist professional teaching artists in classes for students ages six through twelve, preparing art supplies, helping with group management in the studio and galleries, and working one-on-one with students. In return, you can take your own art class with other teens, for free.

All work-study students go to three meetings each semester: for fall 2014, orientation (September 30), mid-semester professional development (November 4), and end-of-semester reflection (December 2). Meetings are held 5–7 p.m.

Check back in December for the winter 2015 application form.

Fall 2014 courses for children and teens ages 6–17. Fall 2014 registration is now closed, but you can see examples of the types of classes you'll be able to choose from if you participate in our winter 2015 work-study program.
