Education: Day Camp Visits

Bring your day camp groups to the Brooklyn Museum this summer to engage in fun, thought-provoking guided tours that teach campers how to look at artworks from around the world. All tours are interactive with fun activities that may include storytelling, drawing, and observation activities. For groups with children ages five to twelve, choose one of the following tours:

All tours draw on one or more of the Museum's collections of Asian art, Islamic art, African art, ancient Egyptian art, American art, and European art. Tours are available at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, July 8 through August 14. Each tour group must have a reservation. The fee is $3 per camper, to be paid in full no later than two weeks in advance. There is a maximum of twenty-five campers per tour. The first five chaperons per group are free. The fee for each additional chaperon (campers and counselors over age fourteen) is $5 per chaperon. We ask that your staff assist us in maintaining proper Museum protocol during the tour.
