Artist Statement
Changes happen every moment. A fleeting 10 seconds of exposure could catch only a ghostly glimpse of the couple sharing the warmth of embrace. Then they were gone. What remains permanent is the Brooklyn Bridge. Opened since 1883 when traffic was still partly horses and when bridge aerodynamics was imprecise, the bridge was fortunately designed six times as strong as what was required. So today, the Brooklyn Bridge still stands while many bridges built around the same time has disappeared into history. While skyline of Manhattan shape-shifts all the time, the bridge continues to be the unchanging landmark.

Gorgeous photo, but did the artist read the assignment...
cool effects, dont like lighting effects over shadows...
Well stated and a fantastic image.
a beautiful photograph, but I'm not sure how much it conveys the changing face of Brooklyn as much as it highlights what stays the same.
nice image, but it hardly speaks of "change"
beautiful use of night lights and long exposure...the idea of the unchanging constant and the changing moment together is a very true one.
Beautiful photograph and the idea of capturing 10 seconds of changing Brooklyn with the long time constant of the bridge, make it the best one I've seen in the collection so far.
Pretty photo
blue hues dominate this miles davis evening a romantic interlude too beautiful for words too fleeting for the archives of long term memory
Beautiful.
Beautiful color . . . looks like Brooklyn . . . doesn't give change so much
