One thing that is consistent about Brooklyn is the amount of time someone takes looking for a parking space. In most recent times, despite the rising prices at the pump and the increase in the cost of living, many people still consider the car as the the most viable. Growing bolder and time being more valuable, some car owners have grown bold and deem it appropriate to inconvenience others. Here is an example of how one business owner located in the Gowanus area handled this obnoxious trend.

Could have been done more effectively.
Not visually interesting but humerous and telling us a little about Brooklyn
That's Brooklyn attitude!
I don't see this so much as something describing the changing face of Brooklyn, but rather as a bold statement about the streetwise attitude prevalent throught the borough. I like the honesty of the sentiment.
Brooklyn? Change? fuggedaboutit!
Very funny, and very Brooklyn! But, I don't see it as representative of a changing Brooklyn.
You can just feel the frustration. Apparently the sign to the right (you can assume is one of many) was not effective.
Maybe not such a profound example of change--bet the same thing applied to hansom cabs in the 19 th century. But I love this as an example of how crowded everywhere has become, even Brooklyn.
Absolutely my favorite picture in the bunch so far
