Artist Statement
The image I have submitted is a reflection of how things change but yet remain constant. The accordion player could equally be playing out the old or bringing a new future to Coney Islands that always will include the endless sound of sea and sky. The image was created using a fish-eye lens that adds to the dramatic sense and scale.

A dramatic image.
we all know the new future of coney island. sterile luxuries.
Well done, well thought-out shot. As Ansel Adams said (quoting Louis Pasteur), "Chance favors the prepared mind." And this photographer's mind was well-prepared.
True, "the more things change the more they stay the same." But in focusing on "the same," I miss the "change" part.
nothing particular
great image...good thought, nice projection with fish-eye lens
