Artist Statement
Brooklyn’s changing landscape is evidenced not only in new condos, but also in the byproducts of their construction. Building materials heaped on corners and roadsides are ripe for creating the unintentional artistic spectacle. What if we stop seeing the tubes, boards, and spray-painted symbols as developmental residue in light of viewing them in the language of material? Piles of plastic, wood, and mesh form conglomerations of unexpected color pairings and shape. The accidental effect of construction is a brightening of our pedestrian experience by in situ, site-specific assemblages…public art on the street, free of charge for all. (Digital)

Striking composition/ color.
A unique image.
Interesting repetition. The colors could perhaps be a little enhanced to "pop" more. With the explanation given, I envision a slightly more robust image.
Nice shot but doesn't fit theme. S.
At first, the photo was a bit boring to me, but then I made meaning out of the red strip crossing the yellow tubes ie. No Construction
interesting abstraction. Not much info context
