Artist Statement

The Fairway has changed the traffic patterns on Van Brunt St. in Red Hook, while the train car sleeps in old rust on rails next to a pillow of new garbage.

Beautiful. Shot in such sympathetic light.

OK, but why is there a smelly hipster in the photo?

oh come on, another fairway trolley shot?! How come none of these photographs are from Brownsville or Sheepshead Bay? How come there are so many repeats of the same spots that are easy to get to behind a major shopping center that rich people drive to?

nice shot

While I like the combination of historic / decrepit infrastructure and what appears to be modern waste, the dude on the bumper seems a little contrived - his shoes are too shiny for that place... but maybe that's the point (?)

portrait of the artist as a young scam

Where's the Fairway? This is only half of the photo described. Another image reliant on the written description. But it's an interesting image none the less.
