Artist Statement
I am investigating my voice and voicelessness simultaneously. . . . I am very wary of narrative as it often feels like an imposition on experience, a rationalization that inhibits as much as it offers consolation or promises order or meaning. Over time, I have begun to understand or accept that the conceptual process itself became the actual work. I began to call it my "cultural autopsy."

Love the idea of process and being a "cultural autopsy" as it seems continuous and revealing - it gives me strong recollections of the work and process of William Kentridge who integrates social moral dilemmas linked to history - Find the delicasy of these works more intimate and open for breathing and living. So it's like normal things. I can go with this. If I can have it show I will. I look at it and I say "This is that, this is the other. I can recognize stuff. It's fine. The colors are fine."
