Each month at Target First Saturday, 1stfans are invited to exclusive events. This year, meetups have included talks with artists and Museum staff, as well as private showings and behind-the-scenes tours.

March 2009: Artist Matt Held talked about I'll Have My Facebook Portrait Painted by Matt Held, his art-meets-social-media project.
April 2009: Artist Sun K. Kwak gave 1stfans a private tour of her site-specific installation Enfolding 280 Hours.

July 2009: 1stfans were escorted to the roof of the Brooklyn Museum to watch the sunset from one of the highest spots in Brooklyn. This meetup included free ice cream and panoramic views.
