These lantern slides, published by the Stereo-Travel Company were photographed by Lynn C. Skeels (1871-1948) in July 1906. He copyrighted them on March 12, 1908. The images are all halves of stereographs. "Great Nile Dam, at first cataract, Egypt" was issued as #100 in the Stereo-Travel set. Lynn C. Skeels was was President and Chief Photographer for Stereo-Travel. I am currently writing a book on Skeels' life and photographic career and would like to correspond with persons of interest about his work and career.
