  • April 26, 1927 The Print Department of the Brooklyn Museum announces an exhibition of the work of the Department of Photography of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences. This is the thirty-seventh annual exhibition held by the department but the first occasion on which it has been held at the Museum. About two hundred prints will be exhibited, representing the selections of a Committee composed of Miss Susan A. Hutchinson, Curator of Prints of the Brooklyn Museum; Mr. Nicholas Haz, artist photographer and Mr. Morris Greenberg, art critic. The officers of the department for 1926-7 are: President, J. W. Aughiltree; Vice-President, Sophie L. Lauffer; Secretary and Treasurer, A. M. Powers. The exhibit will be opened on the evening of May 3rd at eight o'clock with a private view for the members of the Department and their friends and will thereafter be open to the public until June 1st.
