  • November 22, 1938 Abstract art in prints is illustrated by an exhibition in the Print Gallery of the Brooklyn Museum from November 22 through January 2. In addition to prints from the Museum Collection thore are loans from Charles Smith, Jean Goriany, Carl Nierondorf, J. B. Neumann and the Weyhe Gallery. Techniques used are lithograph, woodcut, etching, drypoint and stencil. On some prints the brush is used to add additional color. The artists represented are: Joseph Albers, Boris, Georges Braque, Eugene Carriere, Le Corbusier, Salvadore Dali, Arthur B. Davies, Werner B. Drewes, Lyonel Feininger, Albert Leon Gleizes, Natalie Goncharova, Marcel Gromaire, Carl Holtz, A. Jawlensky, Wassily Kandinisky, Fernand Leger, Lissitzcy, André Lurcat, Franz Marc, Gerhard Marchs, John Marin, Ewald Mataré, William Maurer, Jan Miro, Pablo Picasso, Man Ray, Kurt Schnitters, Charles Smith, Julian Trevelyan, Jacques Villon and Max Weber.
