The Brooklyn Museum’s Department of Prints and Drawings will open the fifth of its special exhibitions this season on Thursday, March 19. This show, entitled “Paris in Prints,” will be made up of views of Paris as it was known by Nineteenth and Twentieth Century artists. All the prints will be from the Museum collection.
Among the artists who will be represented in this exhibition are: Bonnard, Bays, Daumier, Degas, Dufy, Grossman, Asselin, Gromaire, van Dongen, Marguet, Meryon and Vuillard.
The exhibition will be installed in the Print Gallery, second floor, where it will remain on view through Sunday, April 12.
