Friday, July 9, the Brooklyn Museum, in conjunction with the Brooklyn Eagle, will open to the public a photographic-naming contest, entitled “How Well Do You Know Brooklyn”.
The Photographs will be shown in the form of an exhibition and will be on display in the Museum’s Entrance Gallery, first floor, where they will remain on view through Sunday, August 1.
The competition is open to all except members of the Museum and Eagle staffs, and their families. All entries must be submitted to the Camera Editor of the Eagle by Tuesday, August 3. The names of the winners will be announced in the Eagle on Sunday, August 8.
A $25.00 War Bond will be awarded by the Brooklyn Eagle to the person identifying correctly the greatest number of photographs.
The exhibit will consist of 40 photographs of Brooklyn views recently taken throughout the borough.
