      June 11, 1946: An exhibition featuring the work of Mary Cassatt in the Brooklyn Museum’s collection opens in the Special Exhibition Galleries on June twelfth to be current through the summer.

      Especially featured is the recent bequest from Mary Thurston Cockcroft of a pastel, an oil painting, and a group of distinguished prints by Mary Cassatt.

I believe the artist takes pictures of herself dressed as a man but then exposes her femaleness, as in the photo of her dressed as an Ascetic Jew exposing her breast.
