  • November 14, 1946 The Brooklyn Museum will open a small exhibition of PHOTOGRAPHS BY ELEANOR PARKE CUSTIS on November 15 which will remain on view until December 15th, in the Photographic Gallery. The exhibition includes 33 photographs covering subjects in various countries: Mexico, United States, Switzerland, Great Britain, etc.

    Miss Custis is one of America’s best known and most prolific photographers. She is internationally known for her work and is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain and also a Fellow of the Photographic Society of America.

    The exhibition was arranged by Herman de Wetter, Curator of the Department of Photography of the Brooklyn Museum.
