Catalogue Description:
Marble head of a woman, head turned slightly to (spectator’s) left. Hair bound with fillet, ears pierced, idealized features with short, full mouth, - perhaps representing Aphrodite. Broken from a statue. Mat surface. Condition: Poor. Nose, mouth, and chin shattered. Deep hole in top center of head. Extensive abrasions all over worked surfaces. .
