Catalogue Description:
Narrow and attenuated lozenge-shaped wood bar held up by 2 sets of U-shaped bamboo leg constructions. Bar is terminated at each end by a mask-like form in high relief and an elaborately formed knob at the tip. Pierced and scalloped spine carved on underside of bar. Condition: One set of legs loose and unstable. Paint chipped off of both sets of legs. Repaired crack at one terminus, below mask form. Thin fissure in underside of same end.
