Catalogue Description:
Pottery cone inscribed for the "Fourth Priest of Amun, Mentuemhat". The four lines of the stamped inscription appear in raised relief within a circular frame. The core of the piece is black. The clay around the black center is deep red turning to brick red on the surface. Condition: Hole near base; tip missing; partial remains of buff slip.
