Catalogue Description:
Part of a bronze coffin for a shrew. A horizontal rectnaglur box of bronze surmounted by a crudely modelled figure of a shrew. Broken off behind the animal but part of rear edge is preserved. Condition: Rear portion of coffin not preserved. large hole in right front edge. Black / green patina overall. Hollow cast in good condition. Figure atop added - solid cast.
